CHOC HORROR!

We are sorry to inform you that Celebrations have recently removed the 71-year-old coconut chocolate, (your favourite) the Bounty from their tubs!

39% of consumers claimed they wanted ‘it gone for good’. Snickers, Mars, Milky Way, Galaxy and Maltesers lovers rejoice as the six bounties in each tub will be replaced by extras of these equally famous chocolate treats.

Last year, an advert was published by Mars Wrigley featuring a Bounty bar finding love with another unloved Christmas staple, the Brussel sprout. We highly recommend that you watch this rom-com short film https://tinyurl.com/unmfkuk5

We asked 20 children around Boston High School (BHS) what their thoughts were about the ‘Bounty tragedy!’ and here are some of their thoughts:

A chocolate loving year nine told us, “I’m quite happy about it to be honest because I really don’t like the taste of coconut.”

“I’m not very happy about this but Bounties always get eaten last so that says something.” Says Secret Bounty Lover Ava

Maybe the bounty wasn’t ‘the taste of paradise’ after all!
